Had a lot of real life house projects that were on the table this year that cut into time to spend on things like reading, writing, and creativity in general.
Creative Accomplishments in 2025
- Participated in QuantumBang 2025 as an Artist. I was paired with MeyariMcFarland again this year for her Untamed (MDZS) piece. While last years story and this years were from the same fandom, they were otherwise unrelated. It was fun to take what I learned last year and apply it again to this years works and maintain the watercolor/brush painting stylization. You can read her story and see the art here:
- Did more real-world creative works in the last year.
- Finished Multiple Colored Pencil Drawings
- Dabbled with Watercolor pencils
- Did several sampler embroidery beginner projects
- started and completed 2 counted cross stitch projects
- made a bunch of crochet dish cloths and learned several new stitches
- Made several crochet pillow covers, 1 blanket, and 1 shawl
Reading in 2025
This was my second year tracking my reading using an excel sheet and it definitely got a bit tedious as I revisited an old fandom (One Piece) and read a lot of short one shots or series of shorts in the fandom. This definitely inflated the stories read value without adding a lot of words. These short stories also definitely tried my patience in tracking.

Nothing shocking in the data, but still kind of fun to do and see the data in the end. I improved the tracking of tags and genres significantly from my 2024 attempt, which then allowed for more fun graphs. I suppose my next task will to be to build a By Year Comparison chart/graph.
Goals Review for 2025
- More Creative project(s) completed | Goal Achieved? Yes and No.
- Complete new drawing project | YES! Huge Zelda based fanart drawing completed which you can see here.
- Complete at least one new painting project | Sort of? Did some experimentation with water color pencils.
- Complete at least one fan-fiction project | Nope, not even close. Though I did write a bit here and there on a few different projects, nothing was completed.
- Categorize and Tag my Digital Photograph Library (learn to use Adobe Lightroom Classic) |Ummm yeah… not so much.
Goals for 2026
- Do some more writing. At this point I would love to finish some WIP or just write more in general.
- More Drawing, Painting, Watercolor, etc
- Will be starting a new big Zelda cross stitch project
- have some embroidery kits I would like to do as well
- All in all, keep up the creativity in any form.
